About Us

Breakers Handball Club was formed in October 2009 by a group of handball enthusiasts who wants to continue to play and promote handball to the community. Handball is one of the most popular sport in Europe (after soccer) and is one of the fastest growing sports in Northern Asia and Africa. It is a very fast, dynamic and exciting game that that requires athleticism, strength and stamina, great fitness and most of all, Team Work.

This year, Breakers Club has taken the initiative to organize the Breakers Handball Invitational League and Carnival in May 2010 for the first time. The entire competition will take place in the outdoor Handball Courts in the National University of Singapore. The Women’s Handball League will be held from 15 May 2010 to 30 May 2010 on all weekends and the Men’s Handball Carnival will be a one day event held on 29 May 2010. On the final day of the competition, we are having both the Women’s Handball League finals matches, the Men’s Handball Carnival as well as the prize presentation.
